General information about our accommodation and facilities.

Is there shopping nearby?

Yes, Pacific Fair shopping centre is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. The Oasis shopping centre at Broadbeach is a10 minute drive away.

Is there any public transport nearby?

Yes, there are Surfside buses available on the Gold Coast Highway with bus stops within a 3 min walk. The light rail station is a 10 min walk away and can take you north to Surfer's Paradise, Southport and Griffith University. Go Cards are required to travel on public transport and can be purchased from most Newsagents and 7-11 convenience stores.

Are the apartments air-conditioned?

All of our apartments have air-conditioners and ceiling fans in the living areas and ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

How far are you from the airport?

We are located a 30 min drive from the Gold Coast airport. Shuttle bus airport transfers are available.

Where can I have breakfast or dinner?

There are numerous cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Mermaid Beach Surf Club, Cafe on Hedges and Rafiki Cafe are all located on you way to the beach.

Is it far to the beach?

The beach is located at the end of the street, a short 100m walk. The beachfront park has a children's playground, a covered BBQ area and a beach volleyball court for you to enjoy with no major roads to cross on the way there.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, free unlimited WiFi is included, instructions to log on are in the guest folder in you apartment and your password will be given to you at check-in.

Are the pool and spa heated?

The pool is seasonally heated as required and the spa is always all year round.

Is there car parking available?

Yes, each apartment has a free secure basement carpark for your car. There are no visitors carparks onsite, however free street parking is available for visitors.

Are the apartments serviced daily?

No, Montana Palms Resort apartments are self -contained which means there is no daily servicing provided. Linen changes will be provided mid stay for guests staying 10 or more nights. Longer stays will have weekly linen changes provided.

Does the building have a lift?

No, Montana Palms Resort is a 3 storey walk-up apartment complex. Apartments are located on the ground, first or second floors. If stairs are a problem for you please let us know when you make your booking.

Do you charge a security bond on check-in?

Yes, a security bond of $300 will be charged to the credit card you provide. If there are no damages incurred during your stay then the $300 will be refunded to your credit card after check-out.

When is Reception open?

Reception office hours are Mon-Fri 9-5 and Sat 9-12. Reception may be unattended during these times if we are attending to duties around the complex but you can contact us by using the white phone outside of Reception to call us.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is from 2pm to 5pm. If you will be checking in outside of these hours please contact us to arrange an after hours check-in. Check out time is 10am. Late checkouts are available for an extra $50.00 fee and are subject to availability. Please contact us at Reception if you would like to organise a late check-out.
